Part of educating our children is creating an informed awareness of how fortunate they are and a clear understanding of how, through their own will and effort, they can make a difference to those less fortunate than themselves.

When deciding on charities to support, a balance is sought between local, national and global to develop this understanding.

Our School Council members help us to prioritise and to consult properly, before then asking the School community to get behind the various ventures. 

With charitable fundraising featuring as an integral part of school life, St. Andrew’s pupils carry forward an innate sense of responsibility towards helping others, and a grounded attitude of their place in the world.
