St. Andrew’s Walking Bus is the longest running Walking Bus in Medway and has won numerous awards over the last fifteen years.
The Walking Bus is a fun, healthy, safe and sustainable way of travelling to school. Powered by good, old-fashioned legwork, the children and volunteers walk daily from the designated bus stops.
Everyone on the Walking Bus is expected to wear a high-visibility tabard. Adults involved are police-checked and all routes are risk assessed and approved by the Council.
The Walking Bus stops at Gun Tower Mews on a Wednesday, where children can be dropped off between 8.15am and 8.30am.
Parents must return a signed form to allow their child to walk as part of the Walking Bus and the required forms are available from the school office.
