Here at St. Andrew’s Pre-School, we aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment, a home away from home, for your children, to grow and develop into confident individuals, ready for school.
We are set in the heart of Rochester, easy walking distance to many parks, museums and historical sites, all of which we take advantage of with regular trips and walks.
Our nursery class is for our youngest pupils, the 2-3 year olds, where we offer morning and afternoon sessions, as well as a full day.
For our Pre-Reception classes, the 3-4 year olds, we offer full days 08.30-15.30.
If you require an earlier start or later finish, we offer a Breakfast Club from 07.30-08.30 and After School Clubs until 17.30, providing the wraparound care you might need.
Our Pre-School pupils have fresh, home-cooked, nutritionally balanced meals and snacks; made on the premises.
Weekly Forest School sessions are led by our trained Forest School Leader. These sessions provide a great opportunity for our pupils to explore the natural environment within the community; developing their natural curiosity for the world around them and building on resilience and risk-taking.
Pupils also benefit from extra- curricular activities, such as, weekly French lessons; taught by a specialist teacher.
We have a wide range of outstanding resources including a designated craft room, a child size ‘home’ room, musical instruments, a soft play area and countless toys, puzzles and games, as well as three outdoor spaces. In conjunction with our fully qualified, enthusiastic staff you really could not ask for a better environment to settle your child into school life and spark up a lifelong love of learning.
