Our Reception is a lively, nurturing environment where every child is supported. Dedicated teachers and teaching assistants tailor learning to each child’s strengths.
Learning through play
Hands-on, playful activities help children learn while having fun. Specialist lessons in PE, French, and Music, along with small group and whole-class activities, ensure every child feels confident and engaged.
Outdoor adventures
Weekly Forest School sessions develop independence, creativity, and a love of nature. Children also enjoy role-play areas, a cosy library, and a large outdoor space with climbing frames and gardening activities.
Memorable experiences
The school year includes trips, special visitors, Christmas plays, Easter Bonnet parades, and Sports Day — creating lasting memories for children and families.
Give your child a playful introduction to Reception and secure their place for 2026.

Stay & Play Terms & Conditions
The purpose of the Stay & Play is to help new children familiarise themselves with our school environment and meet their future peers. Children’s conduct and behaviour will also be observed.
A reference form will be sent to your child’s current setting. Following a successful Stay & Play and positive feedback from their current setting, you will be invited to a 20-minute meeting with the Principal to discuss the offer of a place. This meeting is part of the enrolment process, and your child should attend with you.
